Tranexamic Acid
Evens toneInterrupts the signal between skin cells and pigment-producing cells, which is what drives dark, uneven patches. Originally a medical compound, it became a mainstay in tone-correcting skincare because it works without the aggression of older lightening agents.
Niacinamide
Tone + barrierA form of vitamin B3 that does two jobs at once — it slows the transfer of pigment to the skin's surface, and strengthens the barrier so the skin tolerates active ingredients instead of reacting to them.
Glutathione
AntioxidantThe body's own antioxidant, included here to help defend skin against the oxidative stress that contributes to uneven tone over time.
Adenosine
Skin conditioningA well-studied conditioning agent that supports smoother texture and helps the skin look more rested and even.
Barrier and hydration
Because brightening actives only work on skin that can tolerate them.
Ectoin
ProtectsAn extremolyte — a molecule produced by microorganisms surviving in salt flats and hot springs. It forms a water shell around cells, holding moisture in and buffering skin against heat, friction and environmental stress. Particularly useful on underarm skin, which gets shaved, rubbed and covered all day.
Ceramide NP
RebuildsCeramides are the lipids that hold skin cells together. Replacing them helps repair a barrier disrupted by shaving, waxing or friction, so moisture stays in and irritants stay out.
Sodium Hyaluronate
HydratesA smaller, more readily absorbed form of hyaluronic acid. Draws water into the upper layers of skin, which keeps the formula comfortable rather than tight.
Panthenol
SoothesProvitamin B5. Calms redness and supports healing — one of the reasons the cream can be used on freshly shaved skin without stinging.
Allantoin
SoftensSoftens rough patches and reduces the sensation of tightness, helping skin feel smooth rather than stripped.
Hydrolyzed Collagen
ConditionsBroken into fragments small enough to sit on the skin's surface and hold moisture, leaving a softer finish.
